Haverford, PA – Stockton University (5-3) saw their three-game winning streak come to a halt with a 2-0 defeat to Haverford College (4-4) on Thursday night.
Riley DeMarco (Hammonton/Cedar Creek) scored her fifth goal of the season for the lone Stockton tally.

The Ospreys held a 16-10 advantage on shots and 11-5 on penalty corners but only found the back of the cage once

The Fords got on the board first after a scoreless first period. At 25:02, Erica Pardon scored for the 1-0 lead that would last until the break.

The home team scored the eventual game winner in the third frame, when Pardon took a shot that was saved by
Delfina Vanelli (Galloway/Cedar Creek). But the rebound found it's way to Louisa Coughlin for the two-goal margin.

Stockton broke through in the final period at 51:16, when DeMarco scored on an insert from
Jessica Bruther (Manahawkin/Southern Regional) penalty corner to slice the margin to 2-1. But that was as close as the Ospreys would come in the one-goal loss.

Vanelli made four saves suffering the loss.
