Bryn Mawr, Pa. – Stockton University (2-0) scored the first two goals of the game and edged Bryn Mawr (0-1) 2-1 for its second win in the opening three days of the season. All three goals were scored in the last 11 minutes of the match.
After more than 49 scoreless minutes,
Brooke Ruiz (Voorhees/Eastern Regional) broke through for Stockton with 10:12 left in the fourth quarter. Sophomore transfer
Emmah Devlin (Millville/St. Joseph Academy) made it 2-0 with 3:06 remaining, netting her first goal as an Osprey.
Carrie Povich scored with just 1:47 remaining to pull Bryn Mawr within one, but Stockton did not allow a shot the rest of the way and held on for the 2-1 triumph.

Delfina Vanelli (Galloway/Cedar Creek) made a career-high nine saves for the win. Sydney Wright recorded six stops for Bryn Mawr.
