Camden, NJ – Stockton University (0-2) played its second match in four days but came up on the short end of a 3-1 score to Haverford College (2-0) on Friday afternoon. The game was played at Rutgers-Camden as part of the Cialella Soccer Classic and extended the Fords unbeaten streak to 22 straight games dating back to the beginning of last season.

Haverford opened the scoring in the 19th minute on a low shot by Charles Sharp for a 1-0 lead. Stockton answered on a tally by
Owen Sugra (Hainesport/Rancocas Valley) at the 34:38 mark to knot the game at 1-1. It was Sugra's first career marker.

The Fords took control of the match in the second half, scoring two goals while holding the Ospreys to just one shot in the final 45 minutes in the 3-1 victory.

Dan Raivitch (Langhorne, PA/Neshaminy) made four saves in net for Stockton.

Stockton will have a quick turnaround when they face Ursinus College tomorrow at 6pm at G. Larry James Stadium for the home opener.
