Stockton Notches Fourth Consecutive Win, 15-4

(Galloway, NJ) – Richard Stockton (6-1) won their fourth consecutive game with a convincing 15-4 decision over visiting Immaculata (3-5) on Thursday evening. Zoey Kramer (Eatontown/Red Bank Regional) led the assault with five goals and an assist for six points on the night.
 
The Ospreys broke out quickly as they netted two goals in a 34-second span to open up the game. Rebecca Nesterwitz (Toms River/Toms River South) and Carlie Flake (Tabernacle/Seneca) gave Stockton a 2-0 lead 4:31 into the contest.
 
With the score 4-2 in favor of the Ospreys, they exploded for six unanswered tallies to take a commanding 10-2 advantage into the break. Kramer scored three times with Nicole Miller (Southampton/Seneca) adding two more goals and Flake garnering the other marker. Miller also assisted on two of the goals with Ciarra Stroud (Medford/Shawnee) dishing another helper.
 
Stockton then outscored the Mighty Macs 5-2 in the second half to salt the game away for the final score of 15-4. The tallies came from five different scorers who were Miller, Kramer, Stroud, Flake and Jenny Carpenter (Egg Harbor City/Absegami).
 
In addition to Kramer's big game, Miller and Flake tallied three times with Carpenter hitting the net twice. Miller dished two assists to top the team and finish with five points. Stockton goalkeeper Mary Stornes (Galloway/Absegami) remained unbeaten, making six saves in picking up her fourth win of the season. Stroud scooped a game-high six ground balls.
 
Shannon Neill had a goal and two assists for the Mighty Macs. Goalkeeper Nicole Behrndt took the loss, kicking out nine Osprey shots.
 
Stockton will play at Rosemont on Saturday for their next game. Game time is scheduled for 1 pm.
