Orwigsburg, Pa. – Stockton University finished seventh in the Albright Fall Invitational at Schuylkill Country Club on Sunday. The meet included 46 golfers and nine scoring teams.
 
Elenora Byrne (Princeton Jct./West Windsor-Plainsboro South) led the Ospreys as part of a four-way tie for sixth place with an 88. Byrne finished strong, with two birdies in her last three holes. She also made one par on the front nine.
 
Ella van Schalkwyk (Haddon Hts./Paul VI) finished 25th with a 102 and Madison Sauder (Pittsgrove/A.P. Schalick) tied for 27th with a 104 that was one stroke off her career best. Sauder parred two of the first four holes and added one birdie and one par on the back nine.
 
Paula Handel (Little Egg Harbor/Pinelands) rounded out the Stockton foursome with a 107 that put her into a three-way tie for 31st place. Handel made two pars on the front nine and finished with another par on the 18th hole.
 
After a day off tomorrow, Stockton's last tournament of the fall will be the Alvernia Invitational at Bulle Rock on Tuesday and Wednesday.
