Ocean View, N.J. – Stockton University began the 2024-25 season by hosting the Stockton Fall Invitational at Shore Gate Golf Club on Sunday afternoon. Two Ospreys played in the tournament along with five apiece from Acadia and Kean for a total of 12 golfers in the field.
 
Madison Sauder (Pittsgrove/A.P. Schalick) shot a career-best 103 and finished third out of the dozen players. Sauder got off to a strong start by parring the first two holes and then added one more par on the back nine.
 
Paula Handel (Little Egg Harbor/Pinelands) finished in a tie for fourth with a 104, which was one stroke off her personal best. Handel shot a 46 on the back nine that included a birdie on the 11th hole and three straight pars on holes 15-17.
 
Stockton will compete next in the Arcadia Golden Oaks Shootout on September 29-30.
