Overview
Stockton Men's Cross Country competed in seven meets during the 2024 season, three of which were held on the Stockton campus course. The Ospreys finished third in the NJAC Championship for the third straight year and then recorded the program's best finish ever at the NCAA Regionals by placing sixth out of 26 teams.
Head coach
Jayson Resch had a trio of veterans leading the way but also received contributions from a pair of newcomers and one sophomore who stepped into a larger role. Six runners scored in at least three of the seven meets in which the Ospreys competed. Stockton produced an NCAA qualifier for the third consecutive year and seventh time in program history.
Stockton hosted the NCAA Regional meet for the first time ever to bookend a season that began with two home meets, the Stockton Season Opener and Osprey Open. A team win in a field of 15 squads at the the Penn State Abington Invitational also provided a highlight.
