Logan Twp., N.J. – Stockton University finished eighth out of 26 teams that scored in the NCAA Metro Regionals, which were hosted by Rowan University at Dream Park. Stockton placed in the top nine for the fifth consecutive year.
Conor Clifford (Monmouth Beach/CBA) led the Ospreys by finishing 32nd out of 181 runners with a time of 25:53.8 for eight kilometers. By placing in the top 35, Clifford claimed an all-region spot.
Josh Corsentino (Brick/Brick Memorial) crossed the finish line three places and eight seconds later in 35th with a time of 26:01.9. Corsentino joined Clifford with an all-region accolade, earning the last spot on the podium.
Shane McDevitt (Jackson/Jackson Memorial) was the third Osprey finisher as he placed 55th overall with a time of 26:35.4. McDevitt's time was a season best by 46 seconds and only five ticks off his top career time.
Patrick Storti (Cinnaminson/Cinnaminson) ran a personal best of 26:44.1 for 60th place in the race. Storti cracked the 27-minute mark for the first time in his career, and his time was a personal best by 39 seconds.
Joey Addeo (Woolwich/GCIT) completed Stockton's quintet of scorers in 73rd place with a time of 27:09.3. Addeo's time was his second fastest in 18 career eight-kilometer races.
The NCAA Regional meet was the seventh and final race of the season for the Ospreys.
