Logan Twp., N.J. – Stockton University finished 18th out of 35 teams that scored at the Border Battle, which was hosted by Rowan University. The Ospreys were one of eight teams at the meet that are ranked in the Metro Region. The race also featured three nationally ranked squads.
Conor Clifford (Monmouth Beach/CBA) paced Stockton by finishing 45th out of 327 runners with a time of 25:45.4 for eight kilometers. Clifford's time was the second fastest ever by an Osprey men's runner at Dream Park, which was the site of the meet.
Josh Corsentino (Brick/Brick Memorial) placed 54th with a time of 25:50.1 that was the fifth fastest ever by a Stockton runner at Dream Park. Corsentino topped his time from Dream Park last year by 30 seconds.
Muhammad Khan (Atlantic City/Atlantic City) ran a time of 27:16.9 for 163rd place as the third Osprey finisher.
Dan Mine placed 177th with a time of 27:30.6 followed by
Shane McDevitt (Jackson/Jackson Memorial) two seconds and two places later at 27:32.6 for 179th place to round out Stockton's top five.
In two weeks, Stockton will host the NJAC Championships on campus, with the men's race starting at 11:15 a.m.
