Logan Twp., N.J. – Stockton University finished 11th out of 31 teams that scored in a strong performance against quality competition at the Border Battle, which was hosted by Rowan University. The Ospreys were one of five teams at the meet that are ranked in the Metro Region. The race also featured a pair of nationally ranked squads.
 
Kayla Kass (Bayonne/Bayonne) led Stockton with 38th place out of out of 296 runners in a time of 22:39.6 for six kilometers. The time for Kass was the third fastest ever by an Osprey women's runner at Dream Park, which was the site of the meet.
 
Rachel Hayes (Marlboro/St. John Vianney) finished 48th with a time of 22:46.3 that was the fourth fastest ever by a Stockton runner at Dream Park and the fifth time that an Osprey has run under 23 minutes at Dream Park.
 
Maddy Valasek (Medford/Shawnee) ran a time of 23:00.1 for 61st place as the third Osprey finisher.
 
Evelynn Austin (Sparta/Pope John XXIII) finished 78th with a time of 23:21.5 to make it four Stockton runners in the top 80 of the field of 296.
 
Madison Pratt (Galloway/Absegami) completed Stockton's quintet of scoring runners in 128th place with a time of 24:20.2.
 
In two weeks, Stockton will host the NJAC Championships on campus, with the women's race starting at 10:30 a.m.
