Bethlehem, Pa. – Stockton University ran against the stiffest competition that the Ospreys will face all season and finished 38th in the Paul Short Run, which was hosted by Lehigh University. The race featured 11 nationally ranked teams and six of the top seven ranked squads in the Metro Region.
 
Josh Corsentino (Brick/Brick Memorial) led Stockton by placing 165th out of 407 runners with a time of 26:19.8 for eight kilometers. Corsentino finished strong, moving up 27 spots in the last 1.7 kilometers. His time was the fifth fastest ever by a Stockton men's runner at the Paul Short Run.
 
Conor Clifford (Monmouth Beach/CBA) placed 209th with a time of 26:35.9 as the second Osprey across the finish line.
 
Joey Addeo (Woolwich/GCIT) was the third Stockton runner in 241st place with a time of 26:52.8. Addeo rocketed up 32 positions in the last 1.7 kilometers.
 
Freshman Muhammad Khan (Atlantic City/Atlantic City) finished 300th with a time of 27:25.1.
 
Fellow rookie Zach Hutchinson (Ocean City/Ocean City) rounded out Stockton's quintet of scorers in 314th place at 27:36.4 after moving up 10 spots in the final 1.7 kilometers.
 
Stockton will have two weeks to prepare for its next race, which is the Rowan Border Battle on October 18 at 10:00 a.m.
