Stockton Softball enters the 2025 season with 16 returning letter winners from a squad that went 24-17 and finished fourth in the NJAC standings last year. The Ospreys feature seven returnees who started at least 39 games plus pitchers who combined to throw 234.1 of the team's 257.1 innings pitched.

Pitching should be the strong suit for Stockton, which was ranked fourth in the NJAC preseason coaches poll. Last year, the staff led the NJAC in strikeouts (252) and strikeout-to-walk ratio (3.76), finishing 19th and 30th in NCAA Division III respectively. Offensively, the Ospreys will have power, with players who hit all 18 of the team's home runs (3rd in NJAC) returning to the lineup.
- Leading the hurlers will be senior Nerina Tramp, who became the first Osprey ever to be named NJAC Pitcher of the Year. Tramp finished second in the league in strikeouts (158), fourth in innings pitched (128) and fifth in wins (14), ERA (1.70) and opposing batting average (.218).
- Tramp also excelled on a national level, placing 17th in NCAA Division III in strikeout-to-walk ratio (7.90), 19th in strikeouts per seven innings (8.6) and 27th in strikeouts (158). Tramp's 158 whiffs were the third highest season total in Stockton history.
- Seniors Mia Barone and Nicole Smith add experience to the staff. Barone recorded seven wins, 48 strikeouts and a 2.39 ERA in 64.1 innings in her first season at Stockton. Smith has pitched 91.1 innings in three years on the team. Sophomore Lexi Liquori is coming off a rookie year in which she fanned 22 batters and walked just four while compiling two wins and a 2.67 ERA in 21 innings.
- Stockton has four returning starters in the infield, led by three-time all-conference and two-time all-region third baseman Charli Czaczkowski. The senior batted .330 last year, including a torrid .387 (31-80) over her final 26 games. Czaczkowski's 38 hits included four doubles, one triple and two home runs to go with 19 runs and 17 RBI.
- Second baseman Emily Spencer is back after tremendous first season for the Ospreys as a transfer from Monmouth. Spencer led the team in hitting (.352) and broke the school record for doubles (15, 2nd in NJAC). The senior rapped 50 hits including four homers, tying for seventh in the league, and her .556 slugging percentage was fifth in the conference.
- First baseman Alexa Panagopoylos is a power hitter who proved to be one of the top rookies in the NJAC last year. Panagopoylos tied for second in the conference with seven home runs, which is also third in a season at Stockton. The sophomore batted .336 (3rd on the team), led the team with 30 RBI and registered a .538 slugging percentage, eighth in the NJAC.
- Aubrey Jeffers, a two-time NJAC Rookie of the Week a year ago, is another sophomore coming off a solid freshman season in which she played every game. Jeffers drew 10 walks, second on the team, while batting a respectable .267 with 15 runs and 13 RBI as a rookie shortstop.
- In the outfield, Stockton returns a pair of starters in junior Caitlin Cetrulo and senior Megan Sears. Cetrulo joined the starting lineup and had a breakout sophomore season, batting .342 (2nd on the team) with 39 hits, 22 runs, 15 RBI and seven steals. Sears batted .299, finished second on the team with 23 runs and tallied three home runs and 15 RBI.
- Senior Brianna Segnello and junior Maggie Formichelli add to the veteran depth in the outfield. Segnello, who played in 31 games with 14 starts last year, is reliable defensively and has 100 career games played at Stockton. Formichelli has seen action in 43 games in her first two college seasons.
- Junior Regan Mendick will see the bulk of her time at designated player after batting .289 and leading the Ospreys with 11 walks last year. Mendick tied for second on the team in on-base percentage (.369) and strung together a team-high 23-game reached base streak.
- Junior Madison Manera is a returning starter behind the plate. Manera continued her outstanding defensive play in her sophomore year, committing just two errors in 262 chances, and finishing fifth in the NJAC in putouts (243) plus sixth in fielding percentage (.992).
- Junior Emma Coldsnow is a transfer from Salisbury who swings a powerful bat. Coldsnow appeared in 49 career games for the Sea Gulls, batting .280 with two homers and 12 RBI in 50 at-bats for teams that went a combined 88-12 with two NCAA Tournament berths.
- Sophomores Molly Cocco and Taylor Semeraro each return for their second season, giving the Ospreys four catchers on the roster.
- Freshmen Casey Sokol and Elizabeth Martin are pitchers who can also provide offense and play in the field when they're not on the mound. Rookies Caitlin Lynch and Emily McGinn are two more additions to the sizeable pitching staff.
- Freshman McKenna George is a candidate to be the starter in the centerfield and Sienna Smith also joins the team as a rookie outfielder. Freshmen Evangelina Kim and Brooke Cavanaugh will provide depth in the infield. Kim is a middle infielder and Cavanaugh plays first base.
