Collegeville, Pa. - Stockton University competed in nine events at the Frank Colden Invitational, which was hosted by Ursinus College on Saturday. The majority of the participating teams were NCAA Division III squads from Pennsylvania, with some other states represented as well as Division II and track club entrants.

Stockton's best finishes came on the track, highlighted by
Sophia Stahl (Hillsborough/Hillsborough) and
Sarah Rutledge (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) who were fourth (5:42.51) and fifth (5:43.48) respectively out of 43 runners in the mile.
Paige Baney (Brick/Brick Twp.) placed 12th in the mile as well (5:49.25).

Guinevere Kennedy (South Amboy/South Amboy) finished fourth out of 16 in the 5000m (19:55.39) and
Bella Campiglia (Roxbury/Roxbury) placed sixth (20:33.84). A pair of Ospreys also fared well in the 800m as
Rachel Hayes (Marlboro/St. John Vianney) crossed the line fifth (2:28.39) out of 44 and
Olivia Horton (Manahawkin/Southern Regional) was ninth (2:33.29).

In the 400m,
Ellie Hallman (Manasquan/Manasquan) finished seventh out of 32 runners (1:03.90) and freshman
Hannah Ross (Egg Harbor City/Absegami) was 11th (1:05.76). Fellow rookie
Sydney Rick (Pennington/Hopewell Valley) tied for fourth out of 12 in the pole vault (2.90).

Stockton will compete in the Widener Indoor Classic at the University of Pennsylvania next weekend on February 14-15.
