Results
Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University hosted a meet at G. Larry James Stadium for the second consecutive weekend and won six events in the Osprey Open. Stockton competitors also registered four runner-up finishes.
Johnathan Holden (Waretown/Southern Regional) collected wins in the 110m hurdles (15.78 seconds) and high jump (1.90m) plus second place in the long jump (6.36m).
Carson Latham (Bordentown/Bordentown) added a pair of wins as he took the top spot in the 100m (11.15 seconds) and 200m (21.98 seconds).
Latham also joined
Joseph deBeaumont (Blackwood/Highland),
Stanley Eloy (Galloway/Absegami) and
Landon Jenter (Voorhees/Eastern Regional) for a win in the 4x400 relay (3:28.59).
Chris Griffin (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) contributed a victory in the javelin (52.54m).
Jenter and deBeaumont teamed with
Patrick Storti (Cinnaminson/Cinnaminson) and
Dan Mine (Toms River/TR North) for second place in the 4x800 relay (8:05.48). Mine also was third in the 1500m (4:14.50).
Darnell Cartwright (Bridgeton/Cumberland) placed second in the 400m hurdles (1:02.83) and
Ahmad Fogg (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) was the runner-up in the high jump (1.83m).
Third place finishes in field events went to
Timothy Lanblues (Mays Landing/Oakcrest) in the triple jump (12.79m),
Brayden Cisney (Shade Gap, Pa./Southern Huntingdon) in the pole vault (3.65m) and
Mike Carfagno (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) in the shot put (13.65m).
After two straight home meets, Stockton will compete at the Ursinus Festival next weekend on April 4-5.
