Ewing, N.J. – Stockton University competed in the two-day TCNJ Lions Invitational on Friday and Saturday. The Ospreys produced three top-five performances at the meet, which featured teams from all three NCAA divisions, primarily from New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York.
Eva Morrison (Northfield/Mainland) tied for second out of 12 in the pole vault (3.50m) behind a Division I competitor from Monmouth University.
Michaela Pomatto (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) finished fifth out of 29 in the discus (40.92m) and
Maddy Valasek (Medford/Shawnee) was fifth out of 11 in the 1500m Invitational (4:39.10).
In the 100m,
Cameron Radcliffe (Pt. Pleasant/Pt. Pleasant Boro) placed seventh out of 37 sprinters (12.86 seconds) and
Adrienne Austin (Hainesport/Rancocas Valley) was 14th (13.08 seconds).
Rachel Hayes (Marlboro/St. John Vianney) finished 12th (2:19.92) followed by
Amanda McNally (Tabernacle/Seneca) in 13th place (2:20.41) out of 55 runners in the 800m.
The Ospreys will return to TCNJ next weekend for the NJAC Championships on May 3-4.
