Holmdel, N.J. – Stockton University opened the 2025 season by running in the Stevens Back to the Bowl Invitational at Holmdel Park. The Ospreys finished fourth out of 10 teams that scored in the meet overall but third among college squads behind Stevens and Wagner, with Castle Point Racing club also placing in front of Stockton.
Joey Addeo (Woolwich/GCIT) led the Ospreys by finishing 22nd out of 93 runners with a time of 18:18.10 for five kilometers.
Freshman
Muhammad Khan (Atlantic City/Atlantic City) followed Addeo for 23rd place four seconds later at 18:22.80 in his first college race.
Jack Cordiano (Toms River/TR North) placed 27th with a time of 18:34.70.
Dan Mine (Toms River/TR North) finished 31st with a time of 18:39.60.
JackEdward Schmick (Vernon/Sussex County Tech) rounded out Stockton's five scorers in 34th place at19:06.50.
Stockton will compete in the Kutztown University DII/DIII Challenge next Saturday, September 13 at 11:00 a.m.
