Galloway, N.J. - The Stockton University men's and women's cross country teams and five student-athletes qualified for academic recognition from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the Fall 2025 season.

Both Stockton squads qualified for USTFCCCA All-Academic Team awards. The women's squad, coached by Claire Incantalupo, compiled a 3.58 GPA and the men's team, coached by Jayson Resch, recorded a 3.12 GPA. A squad must have a cumulative GPA of 3.10 or higher to qualify as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.

Stockton women's runners Kayla Kass (Bayonne/Bayonne), Rachel Hayes (Marlboro/St. John Vianney), Maddy Valasek (Medford/Shawnee) and Evelynn Austin (Sparta/Pope John XXIII) earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete accolades. Kass and Hayes received the distinction for the fourth time.

Josh Corsentino (Brick/Brick Memorial) from the Stockton men's team qualified as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete for the second straight year.

In order to qualify individually, student-athletes must have a cumulative grade point average above 3.30 and have finished in the top 25 percent at the NCAA regional meet in November.

Kass finished sixth at the NJAC Championships and 25th at the NCAA Regionals to earn NJAC First Team and USTFCCCA All-Region awards this fall. The senior finished her career as a four-time All-Region (2022-25) and four-time NJAC All-Conference runner (2024 Second Team, 2022-23, 25 First Team).

Hayes earned an NJAC Second Team nod for the third time in her career (2022, 24-25) by finishing 11th at the NJAC Championships. She then placed 11th at the NCAA Regionals to snag the second USTFCCCA All-Region honor (2023, 25) of her four-year career at Stockton.

Valasek notched her second career NJAC Second Team accolade (2023, 25) with ninth place at the NJAC Championships and then qualified as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete by finishing 48th at the NCAA Regionals.

Austin produced a breakout sophomore campaign in which she scored in all six races that she ran. Austin finished 41st at the NCAA Regionals and became a USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete for the first time.

Corsentino earned NJAC Second Team and USTFCCCA All-Region honors for the first time in his career with finishes of ninth at the NJAC Championships and 35th at the NCAA Regionals. He was Stockton's top runner at two meets during the season.
