Philadelphia, Pa. – Stockton University was one of 25 teams from either NCAA Division II or Division III who competed in the two-day Widener Schuylkill Showcase. The throwing events were held at Widener on Saturday before the rest of the meet took place at the University of Pennsylvania's Ott Center on Sunday.
 
Ahmad Fogg (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) led the Ospreys with a victory out of 24 competitors in the long jump (7.17m) and a runner-up finish out of 22 in the triple jump with a distance (14.51m) that was his best ever indoors and moved him into 15th in the nation.
 
Conor Clifford (Monmouth Beach/CBA) finished second out of 46 runners in the mile with a personal best (4:17.13) and freshman Bryant Nelson (Millville/Millville) tied for second out of 18 in the high jump (1.88m).
 
Eduardo Ruiz-Giuseppi (Flemington/Hunterdon Central), Landon Jenter (Voorhees/Eastern Regional) and freshmen Shane Daley (Galloway/Absegami) and James Adams (South Plainfield/South Plainfield) placed fourth out of 22 teams in the 4x400 relay (3:25.73).
 
Brayden Cisney (Shade Gap, Pa./Southern Huntingdon) tied his personal best (4.10m) and finished fourth out of 19 in the pole vault. Freshman Danny Adams (Glassboro/Glassboro) recorded a personal best (3.80m) and finished seventh in the pole vault.
 
Patrick Storti (Cinnaminson/Cinnaminson) placed ninth out of 38 runners in the 800m (1:58.95) and Johnathan Holden (Waretown/Southern Regional) was ninth out of 27 in the 60m hurdles (8.68 seconds).
 
Stockton will compete in the Fastrack National Invite at Ocean Breeze on Friday, February 6 at noon.
