Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University freshman Zemirah Enalls (Barnegat/Barnegat) was named NJAC Rookie of the Week for women's basketball for the week of February 9-15. Enalls received the award for the fourth straight week and sixth time this season.
 
Enalls, who also has been chosen NJAC Defensive Player of the Week twice, posted two more double-doubles in Stockton's two wins last week, giving her nine on the season. The freshman averaged 14.0 points and 14.5 rebounds while shooting a superb 65% (13-20) from the field for the week.
 
Enalls started the week by scoring 12 points and grabbing 12 boards in a 65-61 win over Rutgers-Camden, then followed with a 16-point, 17-rebound effort in a 55-40 victory Ramapo. Against the Roadrunners, 13 of her caroms came on the offensive glass.
 
For the season, Enalls leads the league in rebounding (11.1 rpg) and offensive rebounds (6.4 orpg) while averaging a team high 11.1 points per game. The forward also sits third in all of NCAA Division III in offensive rebounds per game and 28th in rebounds per game.
 
Enalls has grabbed double-digit rebounds in 12 contests of her 22 games played. She has amassed 244 rebounds for the season, moving into 10th place for a season in Stockton history.
 
The Stockton women's basketball team will finish the regular season slate on the road against Rowan University tonight at 5:30 p.m. and then play an NJAC Tournament first round game on Saturday.
