Returnees:
- Seniors Nick Avagnano and Joe Gmitter are back to power the Stockton offense. Gmitter (.405, 11 doubles, 44 RBI) and Avagnano (.373, 12 doubles, 36 RBI) were the top two Ospreys in batting, doubles and RBI last season.
- Gmitter tied for the NJAC batting lead and rapped 60 hits, sixth in the NJAC and fifth all-time at Stockton, in his first year on the team as a transfer from Mercer County College. He is likely to fill one of the corner infield positions this season after posting a superb .991 fielding percentage in 2025.
- Avagnano, the only Stockton player to start all 38 games last year, led the team in runs (44), home runs (6) and on-base percentage (.471). He finished seventh in the NJAC in slugging percentage (.599), OPS (1.070) plus ninth in batting, tied for ninth in homers and 10th in runs. Defensively, Avagnano can play multiple positions.
- Senior Michael Antonucci and junior Russell Halvorsen are returnees in the outfield who started 24 and 22 games respectively last year. Antonucci is an opportunistic player who drew 21 walks and scored 24 runs in 24 games. Halvorsen also is capable of contributing offensively after 15 runs and nine RBI in 83 at-bats last season.
- Graduate student Max Kaplan hopes to return to form after playing just four games before he was sidelined with an injury in 2025. Kaplan is a proven offensive player with 104 hits, 102 runs and 87 walks in 118 college games.
- Senior Stephen DeMilio returns to lead the young Stockton pitching staff. DeMilio has pitched 162.2 career innings while no other player on the roster has pitched more than 25. The righty enters his senior year tied for sixth in Stockton history in wins (12), eighth in strikeouts (137) and 10th in innings (162.2).
- Junior Danny Snyder and sophomore Tim Welsh are the next two most experienced pitchers on the roster after DeMilio. Snyder has 25 strikeouts in 24 career innings out of the bullpen. Welsh pitched in 11 games with 17 strikeouts in 22.0 innings as a freshman.
- Sophomore Matthew McCloskey and junior Conner Praschil are returnees who add depth in the outfield. McCloskey saw action in 19 games and batted .320 (8-25) with five runs, five RBI and a .500 on-base percentage as a freshman. Praschil posted a .955 fielding percentage in 17 games including nine starts last season.
- Sophomores Evan Palmer and Ryan Zimmer are returnees at catcher. Palmer should be in line for a big increase in playing time after batting .280 with nine runs and a .419 on-base percentage in 11 games played as a rookie. Zimmer saw action in three games last year.
- Chris Galasso, Dom Vizzoni and Kevin DiPede are a trio of returning sophomores in the infield. Galasso played in 25 games including 17 starts and tallied 10 RBI last year. Vizzoni saw action in 15 games while DiPede played four times in 2025. Sal Cassano also returns after missing the 2025 season due to injury.
- Junior Dominic Mallamaci and sophomores Justin Prekop and RJ Coleman add depth on the mound. Last year, Prekop made three starts and earned one win in 11.1 innings pitched. Mallamaci and Coleman tossed 8.0 and 4.2 innings respectively last season.
