Galloway, N.J. – Eight Stockton University student-athletes qualified for NJAC all-conference honors in men's indoor track & field, highlighted by one major award. Three Ospreys earned all-conference accolades in two events apiece.
Ahmad Fogg (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) was voted G. Larry James Most Outstanding Athlete. Fogg became just the second Stockton competitor to receive the top NJAC award for men's indoor track & field (
Jared Lewis 2016). The junior won conference titles in the long jump and triple jump to earn NJAC First Team accolades in both events.
Fogg broke the 38-year-old school record and the NJAC record in the long jump with a distance of 7.54 meters that moved him into fourth in the nation. He broke the NJAC meet record and moved into second in the nation in the triple jump with a distance of 15.17 meters.
The quartet of
Joey Addeo (Woolwich/GCIT),
Landon Jenter (Voorhees/Eastern Regional),
Patrick Storti (Cinnaminson/Cinnaminson) and
Conor Clifford (Monmouth Beach/CBA) secured NJAC Second Team spots in the distance medley relay with a runner-up finish at the NJAC Championships in a school-record time of 10:20.15. Addeo also notched an NJAC Honorable Mention nod in the 3000m.
Jenter added an NJAC Honorable Mention award in the 4x400 relay along with
Shane Daley (Galloway/Absegami),
Kyle Greenleaf (Barnegat/Barnegat) and
James Adams (South Plainfield/South Plainfield). The foursome set a school record of 3:20.70 and finished third at the NJAC Championships.
All-conference honors were based on finish in each event at the NJAC Championships, which were held at the Ott Center on February 21 and 27. The Ospreys placed third at the NJAC Championships for the seventh consecutive year.
