Avagnano & Vizzoni Voted NJAC Honorable Mention

Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University baseball teammates Nick Avagnano (Paramus/Paramus) and Dom Vizzoni (Trenton/Notre Dame) were selected NJAC Honorable Mention for the 2026 season. Avagnano received his second career all-conference award after a 2025 NJAC Second Team nod. Vizzoni collected his first all-conference recognition.
 
Avagnano rapped 44 hits and batted .333, finishing second on the team in both. The senior tied for the team lead in doubles (8) and also finished second on the Ospreys in RBI (33), home runs (3), slugging percentage (.477), on-base percentage (.483), walks (25) and hit by pitch (15). The senior also sported a strong .982 fielding percentage, making just five errors in 275 chances.
 
Avagnano hit .338, with 23 hits, 11 runs and 15 RBI in Stockton's 18 conference games. He recorded NJAC single-game highs of six hits, seven RBI and 10 total bases against Rutgers-Camden on April 17.
 
Avagnano re-wrote the record book in his four seasons as an Osprey. In 150 games including 148 starts, he had a career batting average of .333 while setting school records for doubles (44), runs (137) and RBI (125). Avagnano finished tied for second in Stockton history with 16 home runs, third with 181 hits, tied for third with seven triples and sixth with 66 walks.
 
Vizzoni had a breakout sophomore season, playing in 31 games with 29 starts. The second baseman batted .299 with 29 hits, five doubles, one triple, 10 RBI. Vizzoni finished second on the team with 12 stolen bases and tied for second with 34 runs. He posted a .964 fielding percentage, making just five errors in 137 chances.
 
Vizzoni did his best work during the NJAC slate, playing in 16 league games with 15 starts and batting a lofty .360. He rapped 18 hits and scored 21 runs with seven stolen bases and six RBI during conference play.
