Galloway, NJ – Stockton University women's lacrosse players collected one major award and four all-conference honors for the 2026 season. Freshman
Brielle Soltys (Absecon/Holy Spirit) was voted NJAC Rookie of the Year and NJAC First Team.
Seniors
Isabella Marinello (West Caldwell/Caldwell) and
Gina Marotta (Montville/Montville) were chosen NJAC First Team and junior
Madison MacGillivray (Forked River/Lacey Twp.) was selected NJAC Honorable Mention. Marinello, Marotta and McGillivray each received their second NJAC all-conference honors.
Soltys had a tremendous freshman campaign, becoming the fourth Osprey in the program's 13 seasons to be named NJAC Rookie of the Year. The midfielder leads the NJAC in ground balls (4.06/game). Her total of 65 ground balls is a school record and her 48 caused turnovers are second in program history.
A five-time NJAC Rookie of the Week and NJAC Defensive Player of the Week once, Soltys ranks second in the NJAC in caused turnovers (3.00/game), fourth in draw controls (3.81/game) and seventh in assists (1.19/game)., On the offensive side, she tied for the team in assists (19) and finished second on the team in goals (33) and points (52).
In addition, Soltys set Stockton single-game records with nine caused turnovers against Neumann on February 17 and 14 draw controls against Farmingdale State on March 14.
Marinello earned her second career NJAC First Team nod (2023, 26) after leading the team in goals (43) and points (60) while also dishing 17 assists. The senior is seventh in the conference in points (3.56/game) and eighth in goals (2.56/game). Marinello tied her own school record with 10 points against Kean on April 2.
During the season, Marinello became Stockton's career leader in goals (138) and points (202), becoming the first Osprey to reach the 200-point mark. She also finished her outstanding career tied for second in program history in assists (64).
Marotta received her second straight NJAC First Team accolade for her stellar defensive play. The senior is third in the conference in ground balls (3.38/game) and tied for eighth in draw controls (2.94/game). Marotta finished second on the team behind Soltys in ground balls (54), draw controls (47) and caused turnovers (22).
Marotta scooped nine ground balls, one off her school record from last year, against Marywood on February 28, which is tied for the most by an NJAC player in a game this season. She ended her career second in Stockton history in ground balls (157), third in caused turnovers (79) and sixth in draw controls (122).
MacGillivray followed up a 2025 NJAC First Team nod with an NJAC Honorable Mention spot this year. The junior tied for the team lead in assists (19) and finished third in points (45) while also potting 26 goals. MacGillivray stands sixth in the NJAC in assists (1.20/game).
MacGillivray tied the school record with 10 points against Marywood on February 28. With one year to play, she ranks fifth in program history in assists (36), sixth in points (117) and sixth in goals (81).
