(Wayne, NJ) – Richard Stockton (6-2-1, 1-1 NJAC) fought back from a 2-1 deficit with two goals in the final 12 minutes of the game to defeat William Paterson (3-4-2, 1-2) 3-2 in an NJAC match on the road.
Briana Fischer (Brick/Brick) scored the game-winning goal for the Ospreys and freshman
Danielle McKeown (West Deptford/West Deptford) led the offense with a goal and an assist.
The Pioneers took a 2-1 lead when Michelle Marabondo scored on a breakaway with 13:43 remaining in the second half. Just over two minutes later,
Jacque Becker (Hamilton/Steinert) booted her team-leading seventh goal of the season to pull Stockton into a 2-2 tie. Fischer came through in the clutch, netting her first tally of the season with just 4:06 on the clock on a shot from the top of the box off an assist from McKeown to lift the Ospreys to the 3-2 triumph.
William Paterson scored the only goal of the first half at 17:40 and Stockton trailed 1-0 at the break. McKeown tallied the first of Stockton's two game-tying goals in the match unassisted with just 3:44 gone in the second half. After the team's exchanged markers 2:05 apart, Fischer's eventual game-winner gave the Ospreys their first lead of the game, and they snuffed two corner kicks by the Pioneers in the last 3:05 to earn their first NJAC win of the season.

Sarah Hinkle (Mullica Hill/Paul VI) recorded six saves in the match, three in each half. The Ospreys finished with a slim 14-11 edge in shots, thanks to a 9-5 advantage in the second half.
Stockton will host Rowan on Wednesday at 6 pm in the first half of a women's/men's doubleheader against the Profs at G. Larry James Stadium.
