(Glassboro, NJ) – Richard Stockton (8-4, 2-2 NJAC) came up short in their annual showdown with South Jersey rival Rowan (10-1, 3-0), falling 3-1 to the Profs, who are in the Also Receiving Votes category of the NSCAA national poll.
Lexi Stasi (Cranbury/Princeton) scored the lone goal for the Ospreys and goalkeeper
Sarah Hinkle (Mullica Hill/Paul VI) finished with two saves.

Stasi gave Stockton a 1-0 lead 19:43 into the game by scoring her second goal of the season. Freshman
Adrianna Boucher (Hamilton/Steinert), the Ospreys' leading scorer, earned her team-high ninth point of the season by assisting on the tally. Stockton's edge lasted just under seven minutes until Tiffany Kelly knotted the game at 1-1 by scoring for Rowan on a deflection.

The deadlock remained in place through halftime and 11:25 into the second half when Erika Suhl scored the eventual game-winner to give the Profs a 2-1 lead. Suhl added an insurance goal on a rebound at 75:09 to set the 3-1 final score. Rowan outshot Stockton 11-7, with seven different Ospreys each registering one shot apiece.

Stockton will take to the road again on Saturday for an NJAC game at New Jersey City at 1 pm.
