(Galloway, NJ) – Richard Stockton (2-4) got off to a strong start but was unable to sustain the momentum as Albright (5-1) downed the Ospreys 23-10 for their fifth consecutive win.  Eugene Isola (Monroe Twp./Christian Brothers Academy) led Stockton with two goals and an assist plus a team-high 10 ground balls and a 17-11 record on faceoffs.  Freshmen Connor DeCicco (Catonsville/Mount St. Joseph) and Vincent Manasia (Clark/Arthur L. Johnson) tossed in two goals apiece for the Ospreys.

Stockton jumped out to a 2-0 lead on goals by Isola and Manasia just 35 seconds apart.  Defender Dan Lamela (Brick/Brick Memorial) then ventured into the offensive zone and scored his first goal of the season to increase the advantage to 3-0.  Albright closed the gap to 3-2, but Drew Wright (Wallingford, PA/Strath Haven) and Nick Bologno (Glen Gardner/North Hunterdon) struck back to give the Ospreys a 5-2 lead after the first quarter.

After the Lions pulled into a 5-5 tie with three straight markers, James O'Donnell (Mt. Laurel/Lenape) scored with 4:08 on the clock to give Stockton a 6-5 lead that was their last of the game.  Albright outscored Stockton 6-1 in the last 3:55 of the second quarter to seize control of the match with an 11-7 edge at the half.  Isola netted the only goal by the Ospreys during the outburst.

DeCicco tallied the lone Stockton marker in the third stanza, however Albright put six more goals on the board for a 17-8 count after three quarters.  DeCicco and Manasia each scored for the Ospreys in the fourth quarter but Albright netted another six goals to maintain a comfortable lead and deal Stockton the 23-10 defeat.

TJ Holston paced Albright with five goals and four assists while Phil Potter chipped in with four goals and an assist.  Ryan Turner also finished with five points on three goals and two helpers for the Lions.  Goalkeeper Jordan DiZenzo earned the win with 10 saves in 53:53 of playing time.

Stockton will continue their five-game homestand on Saturday when the Ospreys host Rosemont College at 1 pm.
