Boxscore(Galloway, NJ) – Richard Stockton (0-3) was held scoreless for the third straight contest, this time by Salisbury (1-1-1) by a 3-0 margin in the Ospreys' home opener for the 2014 season. Salisbury held a 9-3 advantage in shots for the game.

The Sea Gulls picked up the first two scores of the evening in the first half on tallies by Ruthie Lucas and Kylie Sanders eight minutes apart at 29:55 and 37:51 for a 2-0 count. Stockton was held without a shot during the first 45 minutes.

Adrianna Boucher (Hamilton/Steinert) gave the Ospreys one of their two opportunities in the second half, but her shot earmarked for the far corner was tipped aside. Later in the half,
Lindsey Thomas (Swedesboro/Kingsway) got the ball by the Salisbury netminder but a Sea Gulls defender denied her scoring attempt. Victoria Luc then sealed the game on a breakaway pass from Heather Deamond at 54:27 for the 3-0 final score.

Lauren Haynes (Williamstown/Williamstown) made three saves in suffering the loss for Stockton. Michelle Conrad kicked out two attempts for the win for Salisbury in net.

Stockton will take to the road for their next contest as they will face Scranton on Saturday at 1 pm.
