Scranton, PA – Richard Stockton (1-4) earned their first win of the season with a dominating performance over Marywood University (0-4) by a 4-0 score on Sunday. It was the second day of the Joe Bochicchio Classic in Scranton, PA. Four different players scored for the Ospreys as they outshot the Pacers 24-7 on the day, with 15 shots being on net.

Stockton scored the only goal they would need at the 3:27 mark when
Lexi Stasi (Cranbury/Princeton) tipped in a long pass from
Adrianna Boucher (Hamilton/Steinert) for the 1-0 lead. Stasi returned the favor when she dropped a pass back to
Rachel Copare (Pittsgrove/A.P. Schalick), who blasted a shot into the top left corner for a 2-0 lead at 24:30. The Ospreys made that lead stand until the break.

The second period saw two former Brookdale Community College teammates hook up for Stockton's third score of the afternoon.
Keara Homan (Manasquan/Manasquan) headed a crossing pass from
Chelsea James (Howell/Howell) to make it 3-0 for the Ospreys. It was the first career points for the pair in a Stockton uniform. Boucher then ended the scoring at the 70:40 mark with a penalty kick to set the final score at 4-0.

Lauren Haynes (Williamstown/Williamstown) picked up her first win of the season, playing the first 69 minutes and kicking out three shots. Freshman
Dionia Henderson (Burlington Twp. /Burlington Twp.) finished up in her first action for the Ospreys in net without facing a shot. Emily Osborne, who took the loss, started in goal for the Pacers making five saves in the first half. She was replaced by Victoria Pezdirtz, who stopped six shots in the final 45 minutes.

Stockton will play again Wednesday, as they will travel to face St. Joseph's – LI in Patchogue, NY. Game time is scheduled for 7pm
