Ospreys of the Week
MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY:
Mike Stec (Bensalem, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) led the Ospreys with a personal best of 26:35.4 over 8K for 106th place out of 276 runners at the Rowan Border Battle.
WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY: Freshman
Megan Meade (Ocean Twp./Ocean Twp.) led the Ospreys with a 47th place finish out of 263 runners at the Rowan Border Battle with a personal best time of 23:24.2 over the 6K course.
FIELD HOCKEY:
Kirsten Bailey (Burlington/Burlington Twp.) scored a pair of goals in a 3-1 win over Rampao, giving her 10 markers on the season. Bailey is tied for second in the NJAC in goals.
WOMEN'S GOLF:
Elenora Byrne (Princeton Junction/West Windsor-Plainsboro North) led Stockton at the Turtle Creek Invitational hosted by Arcadia University. Byrne finished fifth out of 30 players with a round of 86 that tied her career best. Byrne, who held the tournament lead after six holes, made one birdie and seven pars on the way to a 43 on each nine.
MEN'S SOCCER:
Aiden Hoenisch (Bordentown/Notre Dame) scored four times in three games last week, leading the Ospreys to a 2-0-1 record. Hoenisch leads the team with eight goals on the season, ranking fourth in the NJAC.
WOMEN'S SOCCER:
Sophia Drea (Medford/Shawnee) scored her first goal of the season in a 1-1 week for Stockton.
VOLLEYBALL:
Teleyah Witherspoon (Hackensack/Hackensack) topped the team with 14 blocks in just nine sets (1.56 b/s) and added 11 kills and a .333 hitting percentage. Witherspoon collected her second NJAC Defensive Player of the Week nod of the season for her play. She leads the NJAC and is tied for 13th in NCAA Division III in blocks (1.16 b/s).

Kelley Mason (Manhattan, N.Y./St. Vincent Ferrer),

Emma Dyrsten (Sparta/Sparta) finished 23rd in the varsity eight with a time of 15:34.100 at the Navy Day in Philadelphia.

Men's Soccer (8-2-5, 2-1-3 NJAC)
- Latest Results: Stockton 4, Penn State -Abington 0; Stockton 0, The College of New Jersey 0; Stockton 5, New Jersey City 1.
- Aiden Hoenisch (Bordentown/Notre Dame) led the team with four goals for eight points in the three matches. Two of his goals were game-winning markers and one came on a penalty kick.
- Joseph Carbone (Pequannock/Pequannock) added two goals and dished an assist, with Kieran Sundermann (Little Egg Harbor/Pinelands) leading the way with a pair of helpers.
- Freshman Aiden Pereira (Spotswood/Spotswood) scored his first career goal against NJCU with an assist from Antonio Matos (Hammonton/St. Augustine Prep).
- Ernst Louisius (Asbury Park/Neptune) and Jake Homowitz (Tinton Falls/Christian Brothers Academy) rounded out the goal scorers for the week, with Homowitz scoring on a penalty kick.
- Freshman goalkeeper Brady Bartletta (Hainesport/Rancocas Valley) made 10 saves for the week, recorded his seventh shutout of the year and combined with Kyle Birmingham (Budd Lake/Mt. Olive) on the shutout against Penn State-Abington. Bartletta was named NJAC Rookie of the Week for the second straight time.

Volleyball (14-8, 4-0 NJAC)
- Latest Results: Stockton 3, Ramapo 2; Stockton 3, Hunter 1; Stockton 3, Mount St. Mary's 0.
- Teleyah Witherspoon (Hackensack/Hackensack) topped the team with 14 blocks in just nine sets (1.56 b/s) and had 11 kills. Witherspoon collected her second NJAC Defensive Player of the Week nod for her play. She leads the NJAC and is tied for 13th in NCAA Division III in blocks (1.16/set).
- Ashley Carkhuff (Hackettstown/Hackettstown) led the team with 27 kills and snagged 34 digs, ranking second on the team during the 3-0 week.
- Kate Louer (Clifton/Clifton) had 26 kills, 28 digs, four assists and four aces in the three matches last week.
- Nicole Palmer (East Islip, N.Y./East Islip) spiked 25 kills, and added 10 digs and nine blocks. Palmer tallied a career-high eight blocks against Hunter.
- McKenna Ritchie (Newark, Del./Newark Charter School) topped the Ospreys with 53 digs and added six assists and five aces, second on the team. The freshman is third in the NJAC with a 4.26 digs per set average.
- Regan Mendick (Newark, Del./Red Lion Christian) continued her tremendous season with 69 assists (6.27 a/s), a team-high seven aces, 18 digs and five kills while Aubrey Rentzel (York, PA/Central York) added 35 assists, 18 digs and four aces.

Field Hockey (12-3, 2-1 NJAC)
- Latest Results: Stockton 3, Cabrini 2; Stockton 3, Ramapo 1.
- Kirsten Bailey (Burlington Twp./Burlington Twp.) scored twice against Ramapo, giving her 10 markers on the season. Bailey is tied for second in the NJAC in goals.
- Allie Palumbo (Mantua/Clearview) scored one goal and dished an assist for the week. Her tally came with less than four minutes left against Cabrini and snapped a 2-2 tie to lift Stockton to the 3-2 win.
- Carlee Thompson (Gibbsboro/Eastern) disehd two assists for the week, including the helper on Palumbo's game-winning tally versus Cabrini.
- Ameera Bilgrami (Voorhees/Eastern) dished her sixth assist of the year and scored a goal. Bilgrami and Thompson are tied for third in the NJAC with six assists each.
- EB Rafferty (Morrisville, Pa./Pennsbury) and Makayla Alessi (Manahawkin/Southern Regional) also scored once last week, with Rafferty potting her first marker of the season.
- Goaltender Hannah Ayari-Dias (North Caldwell/West Essex) earned her 10th win of the season against Ramapo, with fellow frosh netminder Jordan Czaczkowski (Jackson/Jackson Memorial) posting her second win of the year with a seven-save effort against Cabrini.

Women's Soccer (7-1-7, 1-1-4 NJAC)
- Latest Results: #14 The College of New Jersey 6, Stockton 0; Stockton 1, New Jersey City 1.
- Sophia Drea (Medford/Shawnee) scored her first goal of the season against NJCU with an assist from Emily Hauck (Lebanon, Pa./Northern Lebanon).
- Goalkeeper Morgan Keil (Upper Twp./Holy Spirit) made a career-high 11 saves against TCNJ.
- Fellow keeper Megan Brady (Rockaway/Morris Knolls) made seven saves in gaining the tie with NJCU.
- Upcoming Games: October 18 HOME vs. Rutgers-Camden (5 pm); October 21 at Ramapo (6 pm).
Women's Golf
- Latest Results: No Team Scoring at the Arcadia Turtle Creek Intercollegiate.

- Ella van Schalkwyk (Haddon Hts./Paul VI) finished seventh with a pair of 46s for a 92. Van Schalkwyk recorded one birdie and three pars.
- Paula Handel (Little Egg Harbor/Pinelands) was the third Osprey in the field. Handel established a career best with a 123 that included one par and placed 25th.

Women's Rowing
- Latest Results: No Team Scoring at the Navy Day Regatta.
- The varsity eight, under the direction of coxswain Kelley Mason (Manhattan, N.Y./St. Vincent Ferrer), finished 23rd with a time of 15:34.100 for 4000 meters. The Ospreys were one of just two NCAA Division III crews out of 26 in the race that were competing in a predominantly NCAA Division I field.
- Five members of the Stockton V8 that rowed at Navy Day were members of the unbeaten V8 crew from last spring. The quintet included Emily Latshaw (Toms River/TR South), Amber Hartzell (Merchantville/Haddon Hts.), Megan Baldwin (Brigantine/Holy Spirit), Marissa Martinelli (Burlington/Burlington Twp.) and Madelynn Schina (Somerdale/Highland).
- Those five Ospreys were joined by a trio of returning letter winners from last year in Emily Little (Wildwood/Wildwood), Lexi Kripetz (Clinton/Voorhees) and Emma Dyrsten (Sparta/Sparta).
- Lorie Hendricks (Burlington/Doane Academy) was the coxswain for the second varsity eight that finished eighth with a time of 16:07.110 for 4000 meters. Stockton was the lone Division III crew in the field of 10 boats.
- Seven of the eight rowers in 2V8 were returnees including veterans Jordan Barikian (Cape May/Lower Cape May), Katie Kurtz (Galloway/Cedar Creek) and Kimberly Canelas (Galloway/ACIT).
- Sophomores Erin O'Brien (Edgewater Park/Burlington City), Lex Zang (San Carlos, Calif./Carlmont), Ashley Truesdell (Pennington/Hopewell Valley) and Reese Weirick (Malvern, Pa./Great Valley) plus freshman Joslynn Hurley (Epsom, N.H./Pembroke) rounded out the 2V8.
- Upcoming Meets: October 28 at Head of the Schuylkill (9 am).
Women's Cross Country
- Latest Results: 15th Place at Rowan Border Battle.
- Freshman Megan Meade (Ocean Twp./Ocean Twp.) led the Ospreys with a 47th place finish out of 263 runners in the race with a personal best time of 23:24.2 over the 6K course.
- Jaelyn Barkley (Hope/Belvidere) placed second on the Stockton squad and 86th overall with a time of 24:01.7.
- Bella Campiglia (Roxbury/Roxbury) ran 24:20.3 for a new personal best time and finished 102nd.
- Paige Baney (Brick/Brick Twp.) also posted a personal best time of 24:23.8 for 108th position.
- Rounding out the scorers for Stockton was Megan Faucett (Cherry Hill/Cherry Hill West) in 120th with a new personal best time of 24:31.7.

Men's Cross Country
- Latest Results: 22nd Place at the Rowan Border Battle.
- Mike Stec (Bensalem, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) led the Ospreys with a personal best of 26:35.4 for 106th place out of 276 runners in the race.
- Dan Squicciarini (Flemington/Hunterdon Central) ran 26:59.0 for 134th place, with Angelo Moynihan (Brigantine/Atlantic City) posting a time of 27:17.7 for 161st place. Both of those times were personal bests.
- Mike Cordiano (Toms River/Toms River North) finished 180th with a personal best time of 27:31.8.
- Danny Rodriguez (Egg Harbor Twp./Egg Harbor Twp.) ran 27:38.8 for 188th place to complete the top five for the Ospreys.
