Ospreys of the Week
MEN'S BASKETBALL:
DJ Campbell (Vineland/Vineland) was named NJAC Player of the Week after leading the Ospreys in scoring (24.5 ppg), rebounds (7.0 rpg) and steals (4.0 spg) at the Small College Basketball Champions Classic in South Dakota last weekend. Campbell shot 40% (6-15) from the arc and a perfect 9-9 at the line. He tied the tournament record with 30 points against Saint John's (Minn.) and was named to the All-Tournament team.
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL:
Imene Fathi (Wildwood/Wildwood) led the Ospreys in scoring for the two games last week at 16.0 points per game. Fathi shot a sterling 72.2% (13-18) from the field that included 6-7 (85.7%) from behind the arc. She tallied a career-high 24 points against Alvernia, in which she shot 9-11 (81.8%) from the field.
MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY:
Erik Ackerman (Long Valley/West Morris Central) used a closing kick to improve 13 spots in the last two kilometers for a finish of 217th out of 292 runners with a time of 26:26.2 over the 8K course at the NCAA Division III Championships. Ackerman, the fourth Stockton male to qualify for the NCAA Championships, won the NJAC individual title and earned NJAC Runner of the Year, NJAC First Team and USTFCCCA All-Region honors this season.
WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY:
Kayla Kass (Bayonne/County Prep) made a late push, jumping 20 spots in the last kilometer to finish 166th out of 292 runners with a time of 22:55.6 over the 6K course at the NCAA Division III Championships. Kass, a sophomore, competed in the NCAA meet for the first time.

- Jaelyn Barkley (Hope/Belvidere) also made a final sprint, moving up nine spots in the last kilometer to run her second-best time of the season at 23:06.2 and place 200th. Barkley earned NJAC Second Team and USTFCCCA All-Region nods as well as qualifying for the NCAA Championships for the second straight year.

- Latest Results: Stockton 87, #4 Keene State(N.H.) 71; St. John's (Minn.) 77, Stockton 64.
- DJ Campbell (Vinelands/Vineland) averaged 24.5 points, grabbed 7.0 rebounds, and pilfered 4.0 steals in two games at the Small College Basketball Champions Classic. Campbell tied the tournament record with 30 points against Saint John's after moving into second in Stockton history in scoring with 19 points versus Keene State. He was named to the All-Tournament Team and chosen NJAC Player of the Week.
- Tayvon Gaither (Mt. Laurel/Lenape) averaged 16.5 points and shot 13-26 (50%) for the two games. The sophomore scored a career-high 21 points in the win over Keene State.
- Diante Miles (Wildwood/Wildwood) averaged 9.5 points, including a career-high 13 markers against Keene State. Miles shot 6-11 (54.5%) for the two games.
- Martin Anguelov (Cape May/Wildwood Catholic) averaged 8.0 points, with Jamar Johnson (Penns Grove/Penns Grove) leading the team with six assists.

Women's Basketball (2-2)
- Latest Results: Stockton 78, Rosemont 40; Alvernia 60, Stockton 56.
- Imene Fathi (Wildwood/Wildwood) led the team with a 16.0 points per game average last week, including a superb 13-18 (72.2%) shooting mark. The sophomore hit 6-7 from behind the arc and tallied a career-high 24 points against Alvernia on 9-11 (81.8%) shooting from the field. Fathi also led the team with 3.5 assists per game and tied for the team lead with five steals.
- Trina Deveney-Bethea (Mays Landing/Cedar Creek) shot 9-16 (56.3%) from the field and averaged 11.0 points in the pair of games last week.
- Emma Morrone (Maywood/Hackensack) and Lauren Winant (Middletown/Middletown South) averaged 7.5 points each, with Morrone topping the team with 6.5 rebounds per game. Winant scored a career-high 12 points against Rosemont and grabbed 5.5 boards per game last week.
