Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University sophomore Nicole Palmer (East Islip, N.Y./East Islip) was named NJAC Player of the Week in volleyball for the week of October 28-November 3. Palmer received the weekly honor for the fifth time this season.
 
Palmer led the Ospreys in kills (44), hitting percentage (.347) and aces (11) in three matches last week. The sophomore added 17 assists, 19 digs and seven blocks to lead Stockton to a 2-1 week. Palmer posted her ninth double-double of the season with 13 kills and 12 digs against Stevens on Saturday.
 
The reigning NJAC Player of the Year ranks second in the league in hitting percentage (.303) and points (4.31/set) and is tied for second in aces (0.62/set) as well as third in the league in kills (3.43/set).
 
Stockton Volleyball (17-7, 5-2 NJAC) will finish the regular season with three matches this week. On Tuesday, the Ospreys will end the NJAC slate with a match at Ramapo College in Mahwah at 7 pm. Stockton will head to Aston, Pa. on Saturday for a tri-match against host Neumann University at 10 a.m. and #25 Salisbury University at noon.
