Staten Island, N.Y. – Stockton University returned to action for the first time in more than a month by competing in the Gotham Cup at the Ocean Breeze Track & Field complex. The Ospreys broke one school record and finished eighth or higher in four events.
Carson Latham (Bordentown/Bordentown) took six tenths of a second off his own school record in the 200m and finished sixth out of 77 sprinters (22.21 seconds). The time ranks ninth in NCAA Division III thus far. Latham also placed 11th out of 28 in the 60m Invitational race (7.02 seconds).
Ahmad Fogg (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) placed third out of 47 in the long jump (7.03m). Fogg's jump ranks 17th in NCAA Division III, and he was the top Division III finisher. Fogg also notched 11th place out of 22 in the high jump (1.89m).
Andres Perez (Toms River/TR North) tied for sixth out of 13 in the pole vault (3.83m) and freshman
Timothy Lanblues (Mays Landing/Oakcrest) finished eighth out of 23 in the triple jump (13.47m).
Fellow rookie
Landon Jenter (Voorhees/Eastern Regional) was 12th out of 31 in the 500m (1:07.94) and
Dan Squicciarini (Flemington/Hunterdon Central) placed 20th out of 42 in the 3000m (9:00.39).

Darnell Cartwright (Bridgeton/Cumberland),
Marcellus Malloy (Marlton/Cherokee) and
Shane Moore (Burlington/Burlington Twp.) finished 11th out of 22 teams in the 4x400 relay.
Stockton will head to upstate New York to compete in the Nazareth University Challenge Cup on January 25.
