Mahwah, N.J. – Stockton University student-athletes competed in 11 events at the Ramapo Twilight meet on Friday evening. The Ospreys won two events and added five runner-up finishes at the small meet.
Brayden Cisney (Shade Gap, Pa./Southern Huntingdon) won the pole vault in a field of five (3.85m) and
Johnathan Holden (Waretown/Southern Regional) won a head-to-head race in the 110m hurdles (15.68 seconds). Holden also placed second out of four in the high jump (1.84m).
Carson Latham (Bordentown/Bordentown) qualified first out of 32 in the 100m (10.95 seconds) but chose not to run in the final.
Anthony McCullough (Hi-Nella/Sterling) qualified fourth (11.41 seconds) and then finished fifth in the final (11.27 seconds).
Latham and McCullough also joined
Cruz Lewis (Egg Harbor Twp./Atlantic Christian) and
Devante Greene (Pennsauken/Pennsauken) for second out of four in the 4x100 relay (42.65 seconds).
Darnell Cartwright (Bridgeton/Cumberland) placed second out of seven in the 400m (51.84 seconds) while
Kevin Lu-Chua (Brooklyn, N.Y./Stuyvesant) finished second out of seven in the long jump (5.65m) and
Danny Rodriguez (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) was second out of three in the 5000m (16:06.87).
Stockton team members are slated to compete in nine events at the Widener Final Qualifier on Monday.
