Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University senior Carlee Thompson (Gibbsboro/Eastern Regional) was named NJAC Offensive Player of the Week in field hockey for her play in the season's opening weekend. Thompson collected her second career NJAC weekly award.
 
Thompson scored a league-best three goals in two games during the first weekend of the season. The midfielder potted two markers on three shots on net as Stockton won the opener 6-1 over Arcadia. Thompson's second goal of the game brought her to the 50-point mark for her career.  
 
Thompson followed that up with a goal against #3 Salisbury on Sunday to finish the weekend and move into a tie for 10th all-time at Stockton with 15 career goals in an Osprey uniform.
 
Stockton will play twice this week, starting with a home game against Haverford tomorrow night at 7:00 p.m. before traveling to face FDU-Florham on Saturday for a 4:30 p.m. scheduled start.
