Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University freshman Camryn Harry (Swedesboro/Paul VI) was chosen by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association as a finalist for the NFCA Division III Freshman of the Year award. Harry will be the Region IV representative and one of 10 players on the ballot. The winner will be announced on May 26.
 
Harry collected NFCA Region IV First Team and NJAC First Team honors as well as one NJAC Rookie of the Week nod and an All-Tournament Team spot at the NCAA Regionals for her outstanding freshman season. The first baseman started all 39 games and batted .345 with 40 hits, 36 RBI, 22 runs, 13 doubles and three home runs.
 
Harry tied for the team lead in RBI and finished second on the squad in doubles and walks (15). The freshman tied for fifth in the NJAC in RBI and doubles. Harry hit safely in 26 of Stockton's 39 games, including multiple hits in 11 contests. She batted a blazing .600 (15-25) during an eight-game hitting streak to end the season.
 
Harry also excelled defensively, posting a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage in 224 chances at first base. She finished second in the NJAC in putouts (207) and tied for second in total chances. Harry's 224 chances were the most among a group of six conference players with a 1.000 fielding percentage and at least 60 chances this season.
