Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University junior Alexa Panagopoylos (Atco/Hammonton) was chosen as an NFCA Second Team All-American by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. Panagopoylos became just the second All-American in program history, following 2025 Third Team pitcher Nerina Tramp.
 
The All-America honor tops an impressive list of 2026 accolades for Panagopoylos that includes NJAC Player of the Year, NJAC First Team, NFCA Region IV First Team and College Sports Communicators Academic All-District. She also was named NJAC Player of the Week once this season.
 
Panagopoylos started all 39 games at third base and produced outstanding offensive numbers, tying for the team lead with 46 hits and tying the school record with a team-high 15 doubles, which also ranked fourth in the NJAC. The junior batted .368 with 28 RBI, 13 runs and a .512 sugging percentage.
 
Panagopoylos recorded at least one hit in 28 of her 39 games played, highlighted by a 15-game hitting streak from March 13-31. She rapped multiple hits in 10 contests, topped by a five-hit outing against Rutgers-Newark on April 24 and a four-hit performance versus TCNJ on April 14.
 
Defensively, Panagopoylos registered a lofty .945 fielding percentage in 109 chances during her first season at third base after shifting across the infield from first base this year.
