(St. Davids, PA) – Richard Stockton (1-5) continued its most difficult stretch of the 2012 schedule as the Ospreys faced another quality opponent in Eastern University (3-2), who dominated Stockton 4-1.

Sara Winters (Blackwood/Triton) stood up to heavy pressure with a career-high 18 saves as the Eagles outshot Stockton by a wide 31-7 margin.

Gabrielle Evans (Bordentown/Bordentown) helped keep Eastern off the board with an early defensive save and the game remained scoreless for 23 minutes before Leadbeater gave Stockton a 1-0 lead with 11:30 remaining in the first half. The Ospreys' lead lasted just 37 seconds before Kaycie Andrew knotted the game for Eastern. Only 2:21 later, the Eagles took the lead for good as Brittany Moyer scored the first of her two goals.
Stockton hung in for the most of the second half, trailing by only goal until less than 18 minutes were left in the game. Eastern tallied an insurance goal with 17:16 to play and added another marker four minutes later to pull away and defeat the Ospreys 4-1.
Stockton will host 24th-ranked Rowan in an NJAC game on Tuesday at 6 pm.
