(Galloway, NJ) – Richard Stockton (2-7) scored two goals in each half and played a well-rounded game in defeating Albright College (6-3) 4-1. The victory snapped a six-match losing skid for the Ospreys. Susie Balidemaj (Hamilton Twp./Steinert), Stockton's all-time leading scorer, led the way with three goals.

Balidemaj got the Ospreys off to a fast start by potting two goals in a four minute span in the first half. Rileigh Ruff (Delran/Delran) centered a pass that Balidemaj finished at 25:26. Alicia Leadbeater (Franklinville/Delsea) then fired a shot that the Ospreys leading goal scorer tipped in from alongside the post for a 2-0 Stockton lead at the break.

Balidemaj completed her natural hat trick by scoring her third of the day just 3:06 into the second stanza. A penalty corner from Brittany Iveson (Barnegat/Barnegat) made its way to Jenny Carpenter (Egg Harbor City/Absegami). Carpenter's pass found Balidemaj for the tally. Megan Irving (Oaklyn/Collingswood) followed that up 5:39 later with her second goal of the year, assisted by Iveson on a penalty corner to finish the Ospreys' scoring for the day.

Meaghan Dickinson spoiled the shutout for Albright by hitting the net on a pass from Alyssa Tourdot with 3:27 remaining to set the 4-2 final score. Helped by solid defensive play from Carpenter, Sara Winters (Blackwood/Triton) picked up the victory by making five saves in 62:11 in goal. Liz Stankiewicz (Freehold Twp./Freehold Twp.) finished up for Stockton by kicking out one shot. Marguerite DeLucas made seven saves in suffering the loss for Albright.

Stockton takes on SUNY New Paltz on the road on Saturday for a 1 pm matinee. Albright returns home to face Alvernia, also on Saturday, in an 11:00 am start.
