BoxscoreGalloway, NJ – Richard Stockton (2-0) won their second straight game with a 6-3 victory over visiting Swarthmore College (0-3) on Thursday afternoon.
Samantha Barcia (Berlin/Eastern) led the way with three goals for a hat trick, as Stockton outshot the Garnet 31-9 in their home opener.

The Ospreys broke out early in the game as freshman
Elisha Hartman (Little Egg Harbor/Pinelands) scored her first career goal just 25 seconds into the contest for a 1-0 lead. Barcia scored just a minute later and
Laura Olbrich (Pittsgrove/A.P. Schalick) followed at 27:11 to make it 3-0 at the half. Olbrich's goal for her first career score.

Barcia took a pass from freshman
Leah Davies (Ocean City/Ocean City) and netted her second goal of the game 55 seconds into the second stanza for a 4-0 advantage, but the Garnet rallied to close the gap. Erin Gluck hit the net three straight times in a four-minute span to cut the Osprey lead top 4-3 before Stockton righted the ship.

Lindsey Treptow (Bordentown/Bordentown) poked in a rebound off a deflection for her first career goal before Barcia ended the scoring with her third goal of the day on a shot from in front to set the 6-3 final score.

Stockton goalkeeper
Liz Stankiewicz (Freehold Twp./Freehold Twp.) made four saves for Stockton in earning her second win of the season. Ainsley Parrish, who played the first 55:23, made 13 saves in taking the loss. Ellory Laning finished up, kicking out one shot for the Garnet.

Stockton will travel to Eastern University on Saturday for their next game. Game time is scheduled for 1 pm.
