Galloway, N.J. – Two Stockton University women's lacrosse teammates received honors from the Eastern College Athletic Conference for the 2024 season. Senior Drew Coxson (Lancaster, Pa./Chatham) was chosen ECAC Defensive Player of the Year. Coxson and fellow senior Mary Meduri (Brigantine/OLMA) were selected to the All-ECAC Team.

Coxson and Meduri were the top defensive and offensive players respectively for a Stockton squad that set a school record with 14 wins and finished third in the NJAC this season (14-3 record).

Coxson added the ECAC accolades to NJAC Defensive Player of the Year, IWLCA Boardwalk Region First Team, NJAC First Team and one NJAC Defensive Player of the Week award this spring. She led the NJAC in caused turnovers (3.12/game) and finished second in ground balls (3.12/game).

Coxson set school records for caused turnovers (53) and ground balls (53) in a season and also became Stockton's career leader in caused turnovers (89). She suited up for the South All-Stars in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Senior All-Star Game at USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Maryland on Saturday.

Meduri complemented her NJAC First Team nod and two NJAC Offensive Player of the Week honors with the All-ECAC Team recognition. The attack spearheaded the Stockton offense with a school-record 59 goals plus 12 assists for a team-high 71 points, the third-highest total in program history.

Meduri tied for second in the NJAC in goals (3.47/game) and finished fifth in the league in points (4.18/game). She became the second player in Stockton history to reach the 100-goal mark for her career, moving into second at Stockton in goals (110) and tied for third in career points (129).
