Results
Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University opened the 2025 outdoor track & field season by hosting the Stockton Invitational at G. Larry James Stadium. The Ospreys won five events and added four runner-up finishes.
On the track,
Emma Petrolia (New Milford/New Milford) won the 400m hurdles (1:03.52) while
Amanda McNally (Tabernacle/Seneca) won the 800m out of 37 runners (2:18.90) and
Emma Conroy (Matawan/Matawan finished fourth (2:25.61).
Petrolia and Conroy joined
Kayla Sullivan (Manahawkin/Delaware Valley) and
Maddy Valasek (Medford/Shawnee) for a victory in the 4x400 relay (4:01.17). Sullivan also placed second out of 20 in the 400m (58.99 seconds) and Valasek was third out of 13 in the 3000m (10:42.32).
Stockton's field event winners were
Isabella Freda (Verona/Verona) in the hammer throw (45.25m) and
Eva Morrison (Northfield/Mainland) in the pole vault (3.20m) followed by
Sydney Rick (Pennington/Hopewell Valley) in second on a tiebreaker (3.20m).
Michaela Pomatto (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) finished second out of 33 in the discus (39.59m) and
Rachel Hayes (Marlboro/St. John Vianney) was second out of 29 in the 1500m (5:05.34).
Lindsay Hand (Hopatcong/Hopatcong) placed third in the high jump (1.52m),
Jessica Bentley (Forked River/Lacey Twp.) finished third in the shot put (11.24m) and
Natalie Kroncke (Hasbrouck Hts./Hasbrouck Hts.) was third in the 110m hurdles (16.87 seconds).
Stockton will be home again next weekend for the Osprey Open on March 28-29.
