2026 Stockton Women’s Lacrosse Preview

Returnees:
  • Julia Gibson returns to lead the offense after a strong first year at Stockton in 2025. Gibson led the team in assists (27) and points (66) while scoring 39 goals (3rd on team) last year. The senior ranked sixth in the NJAC in assists per game (1.63) and seventh in points per game (3.94).
  • Junior Madison MacGillivray is coming off a breakout season in which she was an NJAC First Team selection after leading the team with 45 goals, dishing 13 assists for 58 points and snagging 43 draw controls. McGillivray finished fourth in the league in goals per game (2.93) and ninth in points per game (3.80 ppg) last year.
  • Isabella Marinello enters her senior season in sight of the 100-goal mark plus the school records for goals, assists and points. Marinello finished second on the team in goals (44), assists (20) and points (64) last year. She placed seventh in the NJAC in goals per game (2.63) and eighth in points per game (3.83 ppg).
  • Gina Marotta leads the Stockton defense. Last season, Marotta tied the school record for draw controls (74) while leading the team in draw controls and ground balls (49). The senior also finished second on the squad in caused turnovers (25) as well as tied for fourth in the NJAC in ground balls per game (3.00) and fifth in draw controls per game (4.44).
  • Junior Jordan Czaczkowski is expected to be the starting goalkeeper again this season. Czaczkowski recorded 91 saves and a 9.29 goals against average that ranked second in the NJAC while playing 910:52 of a possible 1,020 minutes last year.
  • Graduate student Brianna Robinson and senior Shyanne Nucifora are capable of contributing offensively. Last year, Robinson netted 14 goals while Nucifora finished third on the team with 17 assists and scored five goals for 22 points. Robinson has played 46 career games at Stockton, third most on this year's team.
  • Aubrey Giordano returns after two seasons away and looks to regain the form that made her the NJAC Rookie of the Year in 2023. Giordano scored 43 goals with eight assists for 51 points as a freshman. She finished fifth in the NJAC in goals (2.69/game) and 10th in points (3.19/game).
  • Junior Billie Ormsby is a returning starter who does her best work on the defensive side of the ball. Ormsby started 15 of the 16 games that she played last season and compiled 24 ground balls and nine caused turnovers.
  • Sophomore Kayla Dever is another contributor on defense. Dever played all 17 games during her rookie year and finished with 15 ground balls and eight caused turnovers.
  • Senior Anissa Serafine and sophomore Caroline Mueller are two players who are capable of giving the offense a boost. Serafine, who is back after missing 2025 due to injury, tallied 18 goals and six assists for 24 points in 2024. Mueller notched seven goals and two assists for nine points in 15 games off the bench as a freshman.
  • Juniors Isabella Donisi and Isabella Cote add experience at attack in their third year on the team. Cote and Donisi have played in eight and four career games respectively.
  • Sophomore Nzingha Smith-Vance joins Czaczkowski as Stockton's two returning letter winners in goal. Smith-Vance appeared in six games off the bench as a freshman and made five saves in 109:08 of game action between the posts.
  • Sophomores Tori Barbara, Lynn McLaughlin and Samantha Parks return for their second season on the team. Barbara tallied seven ground balls and seven caused turnovers in 11 games as a freshman. McLaughlin and Parks saw action in five and four games respectively last year.
 Newcomers:
  • Junior Kasey O'Neill is a transfer who arrived at Stockton with college experience from two years on the roster at LaSalle University.
  • Freshman Brielle Soltys could be a key newcomer after a prolific high school career in which she was one of the top draw control specialists in the state.
  • Freshmen Allie Prickett and Maisy Mosier are two more newcomers to watch at midfield.
  • Freshmen Abbey Schaeffer and Isabel Mango give the Ospreys depth in goal as two of the four goalkeepers on the roster. Mango made 478 saves in her scholastic career and Schaeffer backstopped her high school team to a state title in Delaware last year.
  • Lauren Snoke, Elisa Dougherty, Maren Woodman, Gianna Peralta and Brooke Powers round out the large crop of 10 freshmen on the Stockon squad this year.
