Jayson Resch was a 1999 All-American and three-time NCAA qualifier in the 400-meter dasy. He was the 1998 NJAC Track Athlete of the Year, 1999 ECAC champion in the indoor 400m and 1998 ECAC runner-up in the indoor 400m. Resch was a two-time NJAC champion, winning the 400m and 800m at the 1998 NJAC Outdoor Championships. 

Resch earned a total of 12 NJAC all-conference honors and set school records in the 400m that stood until 2010 and 800m that stood until 2016. Resch was chosen Stockton Co-Male Athlete of the Year in 1998.
