Tim Lenahan (men’s soccer coach 1990-97) was a three-time NJAC Coach of the Year (1990, 93, 96) and posted a career record of 94-46-17 (.653 winning percentage) in eight seasons at Stockton, which is his alma mater. Lenahan was the architect of a major turnaround after taking over a team that posted a 2-15 record in 1989.
He helmed the Ospreys to four consecutive NCAA Tournament berths (1993-96), the first four in program history, as well as Stockton’s first three NCAA Tournament victories. Lenahan’s teams set a then-school record with 17 wins in 1993 and won the program’s first-ever NJAC championship in 1996. His teams reached double figures in win in each of his last five seasons (1993-97).
Following his time at Stockton, Lenahan coached at Lafayette College, where he went 32-23-3 with two Patriot League titles and two NCAA Tournament berths in three seasons followed by a 179-154-55 mark and nine NCAA Tournament berths in 20 seasons at Northwestern University.
